As of January 1, 2017 Tecumseh residents will be required to place waste in hard sided containers. Residents and businesses are responsible for obtaining their own approved hard-sided garbage containers, either purchased from retailers or rented from independent local suppliers for a small monthly fee.
The container must be made of rigid metal or plastic with external handles and a watertight lid. Capacity can not exceed 125 L. See other requirements on the Town of Tecumseh website (http://www.tecumseh.ca/hardsidedcontainers1)

RE/MAX has released their 2017 Housing Market Outlook Report. Unsurprisingly, Windsor is projected to remain a hot seller's market through 2017, with a five-percent increase in the average home price rising to $237,791. With the year not ended, RE/MAX projects the average sales price for 2016 to be approx $226,468. This was a whopping 13% increase over 2015. For comparison, the average home price in 2013 was just $183,518. That's a pretty amazing jump.
