Additionally, this community is the base of Canada's Agriculture and Agri-Food research centre for field crops and greenhouse vegetables.

Colchester sits along the Lake Erie coast and is known for its public beach. You'll see plenty of cyclists and tourist making their way along the wine route and the Lake Erie Waterfront Trail. This community is one of the oldest in the region, dating back to the War of 1812 and the Underground Railroad.
